I’m out of practice at keeping this up to date… I’ve been distracted from our European photos by a couple of trips to wildlife sanctuaries, so expect more Australian animals for a while.

There were stray cats and dogs in all the ancient ruins we saw. This was one of the few who posed nicely for me.

I somehow missed any mention of monkeys in the descriptions I read of the monastery, so it was a happy surprise to see them climbing everywhere and stealing food offerings. It was obvious that one or two very fat monkeys got more than their fair share of the food.
